Some NEW Pics for the NEW YEAR

skies were gray all day, but at sunset the clouds were really cool

As the sun went down, the clouds took to life
I
had hoped to brighten the boardwalk with flash
(that didn't work) and the focus was a little blurry
but the sky looks cool!!

was a gorgeous day on the mountain, but it's NOT the beach...so off to AVILA!
So
I'm a sucker for AVILA BEACH...
and it's been a while since I was here at Sundown

love the darkness of the mountain with the clouds hiding the sun.

are so lucky to have so many piers here on the Central Coast
but it's hard to beat the Port San Luis Pier...
you can drive all the way out on it "FREE"
and there are TWO restaurants on it.

...and then we stopped by Morro Bay - Check out that ROCK!!
this
is a train bridge located in Pismo Beach that crosses the creek,
the Build Date (as seen in the next photo) is 1909
I'm kind of a sucker for old bridges, trains and the tracks...
this
was a vehicle bridge ( near the above train bridge) over the San Luis Creek
Sadly, this bridge is closed to traffic
one
of the MOST RARE sights here on the central coast

underway with a LEVY rebuilding job
