2001 Race 7 - Crystal Park Raceway - Compton CA[Compton CA - by Joe Myers] August 18th saw the tour head back to Compton's Crystal Park Raceway for the second Road Course of the series. Nearly 40 of the series regulars made the trip and a few Touring Car guys showed up to play as well. Again points are on several racers minds, and some had a great opportunity to take advantage of a smaller turnout and make up some distance. Others weren't so lucky, having a tough time with the Very LONG, Very Fast ROAD COURSE.
