Over the next few months, I hope to turn this into a huge photo album of racers mainly from the Santa Maria Speedway.

The Santa Maria Speedway opened in 1964, (I was just one year old) and during the 40+ years of operation, several hundred racers and thousands of race fans have been through the gates of the speedway.  Some of the family names are heros to folks in this area.  You have the Claborns, the Simkins, the Webers, the Shaffers and more who are represented by the current generations racer.

This is just a piece of that history
