How about a SNOW trip...
So
on Monday (Dec. 7th) we had a COOOOOLD Winter Storm blow through
the area...and low and behold - the mountains to the East are covered in SNOW!
Shot from East of Orcutt on Clark Ave. near Dominion Rd.
I
thought..."Hey, if I head toward Tepesquet we'll be able to get a GOOD
VIEW"
then instead I went up into COLSON CANYON (the day after a rain)
and almost got STUCK!
No
SNOW in Colson Canyon, but it was so pretty
.....pictures didn't do it justice
Meanwhile...I got back on course, and up to the top of Tepesquet Rd.
Look at the SNOW on the MOUNTAINS!
This
was from the top of Tepesquet Rd. looking to the East across the mountains that
just a few months ago
were burning with WILDFIRES!
So,
I'm not done chasing SNOW yet... out to Highway 166
(weren't we just here a couple weeks ago?)
Out near the "SPANISH RANCH" there was lots of snow on the mountains
No
SNOW here - but I thought the red mountain rock looked really cool...and
every time I drive by it
I want to stop and get a picture!
